East Drumlemble Cottage is a haven of peace and relaxation in today’s increasingly hectic world. The house sits in lawned gardens looking out over rolling fields and the glorious sand dunes of Machrihanish to the islands of Jura and Islay and the endless wild Atlantic beyond.

The cottage is just five minutes from famous golf courses (old and new) and the beach at Machrihanish. And a similar distance from all the amenities of Campbeltown. It makes an ideal base for a golfing, seaside or walking holiday or to explore Kintyre and its offshore islands.

Anglers, birdwatchers and historians will all find lots to do while it is the perfect place simply to relax, enjoy the views and watch the sun go down over the sea.

Campbeltown has restaurants, two supermarkets, shops, banks, a tourist office, library and cottage hospital. There is also a new swimming pool and gymnasium. Private yachts and local fishing boats share its sheltered harbour overlooked by the A-listed Picture House, (aka) ”the Wee Pictures", the oldest custom-built cinema in Scotland

Our stone-built former farm cottage has two bedrooms, one public room and a large dining kitchen. It sleeps 4 and is centrally heated, double glazed and comfortably furnished. It has recently been entirely redecorated and sits in a secure, enclosed garden.
