The House

East Drumlemble Cottage lies between Machrihanish and Campbeltown and has been lovingly
extended and renovated to provide a comfortable and cosy retreat on Scotland’s “mainland island”
- Kintyre.

It contains one public room and two bedrooms plus a farmhouse-style dining kitchen. The toilet has
a large shower and there are drying facilities indoors and out. Fully double glazed, the house
has oil-fired central heating plus a modern electric fire in the lounge. There's a wide-screen TV and DVD player, music CD player and comfy couches to relax on. A selection of books, films music and games is also available.

The front of the cottage faces south with views of Beinn Ghuilean (Hill of the Shoulder ) and rich
surrounding farmland. The gardens are large, lawned and fully enclosed with a hut for storing cycles or other equipment and a round wooden table for outdoor dining. Ample parking for three cars.

Sleeping
Both rooms have been recently refurbished and have ample wardrobe and drawer space. The front
bedroom has twin single beds. The rear double-bedded room includes a small sitting area with a
TV, chairs and a sofa . Patio doors lead out to the back garden and give panoramic views over
the fields to the Inner Hebrides, a lovely sight to wake up to or to relax and watch the sun go down.
All bed linen is provided.

Cooking etc
The country-style table in the large kitchen is ideal for meals or snacks. Facilities include an electric
oven, ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, microwave and washing machine with tumble drier. Utensils,
crockery and glassware are all provided.

The front porch and lockfast garden hut provide plenty space for outdoor clothing and equipment.
